Vallejo Wash FX is designed to help model painters create realistic aging, weathering, and shading effects with minimal effort. The water-based formula flows smoothly into panel lines, textures, and recessed details, enhancing depth while maintaining fine surface definition. Its high capillarity and matte finish make it especially effective for creating dirt, dust, rust, and grime effects on vehicles, terrain, miniatures, and dioramas. 

Wash FX can be brushed directly onto surfaces for targeted detailing or applied as an all-over filter to subtly alter base colors and unify tones. Compatible with both brush and airbrush techniques, it dries quickly so additional painting and weathering layers can be added without long delays.
