Screen printing tape should peel quickly and cleanly as well as stay down when you need it to. The amount of tack level required depends on the type of ink and frames. An adhesive that’s too strong will leave residue behind, but an adhesive that’s too weak will allow ink under the tape. Choose blockout tape for higher adhesive strength or a tape that’s water-, humidity-, and solvent-resistant and pressure-sensitive. Photo tape blocks out more light than masking tape.
