Masking Tape

Masking tape can usually be torn by hand rather than cut with scissors. It's great for utility applications such as holding, bundling, sealing, packaging, temporary labeling, and masking. Masking tape is not suitable for fine art materials as the tape may leave some residue behind, which might yellow over time and not be acid-free. For fine art applications, we recommend an artist tape.

Colored masking tape is a great project management tool. If you build exhibits or sets, direct a large project such as show or mural, or decorate interior spaces, then use colored tape as a visual marker to coordinate the contributions of others.
