Use Rit DyeMore Synthetic Fiber Dye to add custom color to 100&#37; polyester and polyester blends, nylon, acetate, acrylic, and even some plastics. You can also use it to dye wigs.    One 7 oz (207 ml) bottle of dye will color 1&nbsp;lb of dry polyester fabric. If dyeing acetate, acrylic, or nylon, one bottle will dye 2&nbsp;lb of dry fabric.   Non-toxic and easy to use, Rit Dyes are safe for disposal and septic systems. They won't harm the environment.    Note  &mdash; The stovetop method (dyeing items in a pot on the stove) is recommended with this dye, especially when coloring polyester and acrylic. A very high, steady temperature is needed to dye those fabrics.
