It contains 8 oz of Rit Indigo All-Purpose Dye, 8 oz of Rit ColorStay Dye Fixative, rubber bands, acrylic squares, twine, gloves, and an instruction booklet. Use the ColorStay Dye Fixative immediately after dyeing to lock in the color, prevent bleeding and fading, and enhance the color of your fabric. The dye technique requires a sink or bucket and hot water. 

Color varies depending on fabric type, amount of dye used, water temperature, and time spent in the dye bath. Dye may not be effective on bleach-damaged fabrics. Not recommended for synthetic fibers, fabrics with a rubber backing, or fabrics that require a cold water wash or are dry clean only.

Make your black clothing bold again with the Rit Back to Black Dye Kit. It contains everything you need, including 8 oz of Rit Jet Black All-Purpose Dye, 8 oz of Rit ColorStay Dye Fixative, gloves, and instructions. The Back to Black Dye Kit is also great for overdyeing clothing of any color to turn it vibrant black.

Contents in the kit are effective on most fabrics, including jeans, work uniforms, and black wardrobe favorites. ColorStay Dye Fixative locks in the black dye, reducing bleeding and fading from repeated washes.

Ideal for use with a sink/bucket or stovetop dye method, it requires hot water for best results. Darkness varies depending on dye method, fabric type, amount of dye used, water temperature, and time in the dye bath.

Not recommended for fabrics containing more than 35% of polyester, acrylic, or acetate. May not be effective on bleach-damaged fabrics. Made in the USA.
