Golden Polymer Varnish with UVLS (UltraViolet Light Stabilizers) is a waterborne acrylic polymer varnish that dries to a protective, flexible, dust-resistant surface. Use it as a final sealant over acrylic paint.

Polymer Varnishes must be thinned before use. They have been formulated thicker than traditional varnishes, to maintain an even suspension of matting agents. This ensures more consistency in surface reflectance.

Varnishes are available in a highly reflective Gloss, and an exceptionally flat Matte. The matte varnish will lighten dark value colors. This varnish is removable with ammonia for restoration purposes. For interior use only.

Use Golden Hard MSA (Mineral Spirit Acrylic) Topcoat over a wide variety of paints, including acrylic, oil, alkyd, egg tempera, watercolor, and casein. It dries to a tough, rigid, non-removable protective finish.

As a topcoat for acrylics, it provides a harder, lower tack surface than other topcoats and is much less susceptible to dirt and marring. With the benefit of UVLS (UltraViolet Light Stabilizers), this topcoat provides increased resistance to the harmful effects of ultraviolet radiation, making it suitable for exterior as well as interior applications. 

Gloss topcoat dries to a highly reflective finish. Satin offers moderate reflection, similar to most matte topcoats. The Matte finish is exceptionally flat. The different finishes can be intermixed or used sequentially to achieve the sheen you desire.

Golden MSA (Mineral Spirit Acrylic Varnish with UVLS (UltraViolet Light Stabilizers) is a mineral spirit based acrylic resin system that can be applied to acrylic, oil, and alkyd painted surfaces. Golden MSA Spirit Acrylic Varnish is removable with mineral spirits after drying and can be used for interior or exterior applications. 

__Note__ — Golden MSA Acrylic Varnish has a thicker viscosity than traditional varnishes, which helps maintain a more even suspension of solid particles. It must be thinned with Golden MSA Solvent before use.
