Crescent Select Alpha-Cellulose Matboard

Crescent Select Matboards are made from alpha-cellulose wood pulp fibers that have been chemically treated to eliminate the acids and lignins that normally degrade artwork and matboards.

Intended for minimum levels of conservation framing and as an alternative to non-conservation matting, Crescent Select Alpha-Cellulose Matboards are ideal for fine art prints, photos, documents, and limited editions. The 4-ply matboards are acid-free and lignin-free, with fade-resistant, bleed-resistant surface papers, with bright white cores and backing.

UltiBlack Matboards - These matboards are identical to Crescent Select Matboards, with deep black cores and backing.
