Float and Floater Frames


Float (or floater) frames are so named because the illusion they create is that your artwork is “floating” within the frame instead of being covered by it. Perfect for displaying gallery wrap canvases where the staples aren’t visible, these wood picture frames allow you to easily attach a canvas to the stretcher bars with screws. Available at your local hardware store, the screws should be long enough to screw into the frame without damaging your artwork (about 3/4” long).
