To create a project with mosaics, choose a base to support your design. Concrete is best for outdoor mosaics because it holds up to all types of weather. If you’re creating a design, sketch it on your base first to use as a guide. You may also want to lay down your mosaics before adding adhesive to preview how the finished design will look.
Add an adhesive to the surface (preferably water-resistant for outdoor projects), and then carefully lay your mosaics on top. Once the adhesive is dry, add grout and let it set. Wipe away the excess to reveal your design.
