Angular Brushes

Artists choose angular paintbrushes for making precise strokes, lines, and curves with thick or heavy paints. In an angular brush, short fibers, either natural or synthetic, are set with longer fibers at one end of the brush head, making the brush ideal for reaching into small areas and for filling in corners. Angular brushes are similar to flat brushes in that their flat shape helps them cover large areas of a painting surface. Access our Brush Charts for more information on types of paintbrushes, including brush shapes, fiber types, and measurements.
