Just buy it
Comments about Aitoh Screw Punch Tool:
Yes, this one is more expensive than others you can buy. But just get it. The materials and craftsmanship are solid. I use mine for book covers. Sometimes, I have to punch twice to get through the board, but the result is a perfect finished circle. Much better result than my heavy duty awl. I am very pleased with the tool! I wish I had bought it sooner.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

It works the way I want it to. I just wish I ordered another end with a bigger hole. I will order in near future.

Good Tools so important
from Cerrillos, NM
I'm a bookmaker and papermaker
I am an inventor and required a specific tool to complete a project with the perfect size holes for a zip tie to fit through. Having to make thousands of holes and quickly, I am so pleased to have found Dick Blick and the ideal product I needed! Upon ordering, I was under the impression that it would take a few weeks for delivery, however desperate as I was, I still ordered it. Not only did it arrive within a couple of days following my order, but it works PERFECTLY!!

Screw Punch Tool bit
from Asheville, NC
I have used the tool to make small books and it works perfect. I'm very happy with the quality and the performance of the tool.
yes, I would buy this tool again
It does a very good job of punching the holes for my bookbinding projects. It does clog with the paper holes inside the punch. I use a paper clip to unclog the paper.
Easy to use

I enjoy how easy to use and how easy it is to change the bits. I prefer to use this over punching holes with an awl. The only thing that could really make this product better is it the smallest bit would come in an additional size 1.
Best screw punch tool
from Nashville, TN
Purchased this for book making and it works beautifully. Punches clean, perfect holes in paper, leather and faux leather/suede. I ordered two additional bits, 2.0mm and 1.0mm in addition to 3.0mm bit that came with tool. All three work perfectly and are easy to change. This screw punch from Japan was recommended by other artisans over other less expensive models because it is an extremely well made and lasting tool. I couldn't agree more.
Screw Punch Tool
from Austin, TX
I use the tool in bookbinding. It saves time in certain casesby not having to use an awl. This is much faster. It works great, and I made a good purchase buying it.
Just what I was looking for
I got the screw hole punch to mark darts in garment pattern that I'm making. It works great for that purpose. I like that I can buy other size drill bits for it if I want to use it for other things in the future. It arrived quickly after I ordered it and the entire transaction was smooth - just like you'd expect.
