Best brush for oil painter
Comments about Raphaël Raphaël Kevrin Plus Angular Brushes:
If you are a realist oil painter, this is the best brush. I like mongoose hair best, but it's hard to find them so I keep buying a lot of Raphael Kevlin brushes. The hair is not too coarse so it doesn't scrape off paint too much, but coarse enough to spread paint evenly thin. You can make soft edge blended well in the background without brush mark. Great for work on something like human skin, fabric, and fur .
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

A bright with an angle
Comments about Raphaël Kevrin Plus Angular Brushes:
I bought this to use with acrylics. I like to wash out the brush every couple of mintues as I paint, but paint usualy hides in the middle and dries before I can do a more thorough cleanup. So I am trying synthetic mongoose as a thinner (and therefore easier to clean) ferrule. Well, the brush holds a high paint load, and is a little softer than the Princeton brand. The hairs also are more ragged. Plus, the size was much smaller than I imagined, more of an angled bright than a flat. Bummer. It is only useful for detail work.
