The Platinum Prefounte Fountain Pen is an affordable entry-level writer with a elevated design and great features. Featuring the same smooth, natural-feeling steel nib as the beloved Preppy, the Prefounte upgrades its design with a shatter-resistant, translucent polycarbonate body. A polished metal clip adds a smart finishing touch.

Platinum’s patented "Slip and Seal" cap design keeps ink fresh and flowing, even if left unused for months. The convenient cartridge-converter filling system makes refills a breeze. One blue-black ink cartridge is included, with additional cartridges and the optional converter sold separately.
