The pen features Pilot’s #3 14K Gold nib, known for its precise, silky-smooth performance and slight springiness. Every word you write lays down seamlessly without being overly soft. You can get straight to writing with the included Blue ink cartridge. If you prefer some flexibility in your ink color, the pen also comes with a refillable CON-40 ink converter and is compatible with Pilot proprietary ink cartridges.
