Legion Rising Barrier Paper was born after artists began to use Rising Museum Board for purposes other than matting and framing. This paper is actually a 250 gsm, single-ply version of Rising Museum Board.
A popular paper because of its versatility, Rising Barrier Paper is suitable for a variety of applications. Its level, slightly textured surface makes it ideal for drawing techniques. Its dimensional stability makes it perfect for silkcreening. Its modest surface sizing makes it suitable for offset printing and light wet media applications.
Rising Barrier Paper can also be used for conservation and restoration, hand lithography, letterpress, matting and framing, offset printing, pastels, and charcoal.
Made from 100% cotton, this paper is buffered with calcium carbonate. It is pH-neutral, acid-free, lignin-free, and chlorine-free.

Handling Charge — When ordering sheets of paper or board larger than 18” x 24” in quantities of less than 10, a $3.00 per order handling fee applies. Paper or boards may be assorted to reach the quantity of 10.
