Not your average pencil, the Kaweco Sketch Up Clutch is big and built to last a lifetime. Machined from solid lead-free eco brass with gleaming aluminum components, this unique holder is excellent for expressive sketches and broad shading. Designed to hold leads between 5.4 - 5.7 mm, it arrives preloaded with a 5.6 mm 5B lead, so you can get started straight away.

A spring-loaded metal clasp securely holds the lead—simply push the silent button on the back to advance it. A handy sharpener, cleverly built into the holder, can be accessed by unscrewing the button on the back.

Over time, the untreated brass will develop an antique-looking patina that reflects its use. Those who prefer its original shine can restore it easily with a bit of brass polish.
