Made using synthetic, vegan-friendly fibers, the bristles of Da Vinci Synthetic Bristle Mottler Brushes perform similarly to rugged hog bristle brushes—except they are even more durable and easier to clean. A rust-proof steel ferrule provides additional protection from the wear and tear of daily use, and it holds the stiff bristles securely in place to minimize shedding and preserve their excellent snap. 

These traditional mottler brushes are great for working with a wide variety of mediums, from painting in oils and acrylics to priming, gessoing, and varnishing. Their plain lacquered handles are made from sustainably sourced European wood and tumble-lacquered for a protective, glossy finish. Each includes a drilled hanging hole for convenient storage. Made in Germany using non-toxic materials.
