Thin airbrush colors, increase transparency, and improve flow with waterbased Createx Airbrush Reducers. Use these premium reducers with Auto Air Colors, Createx Colors, Illustration Colors, AutoBorne Sealers, or any waterbased paint. They're generally added 5% to 10% per volume. For small tip-sized airbrush and to achieve the best viscosity for paint atomization, add it in greater amounts up to 20% per volume. Reduction ratios may vary by color and by preference. The reducers are non-reactive and don't serve as a catalyst. They also reduce drying and curing time of paints.

__4011 Reducer__ — Createx 4011 Reducer (also called Wicked Colors W100) contains Propylene Glycol Monomethyl Ether Acetate. Use paints within a week after they're mixed with 4011.

__4012 High Performance Reducer__ — Createx 4012 High Performance Reducer (also called Wicked Colors W500) contains 2-butoxyethanol. Paints have a 72-hour pot life after they're mixed with 4012.

Createx Wicked Colors Airbrush Paint Sets - Component bottles of 12 pc Opaque Colors set

Discover a real breakthrough in airbrush paint! Createx Wicked Colors Airbrush Colors are highly pigmented colors that offer excellent coverage right out of the bottle using a 0.5 mm airbrush tip. They can be thinned with Createx Colors 4011 Reducer for increased transparency and for use with smaller tips. They can also be over-reduced with Createx Colors 4012 High Performance Reducer to create very transparent colors — perfect for soft transitions and blends. 

These water-based airbrush paints are ideal for any interior or exterior paint project because they’re made with lightfast pigments and a highly durable acrylic resin.

__Transparent, Colors W001–W016__ – These colors spray semi-opaque out of the bottle and dry to a semi-gloss finish. 

__Fluorescent, Colors W019–W029__ – These neon colors spray transparent out of the bottle. Fluorescent colors are not lightfast. For exterior use, apply over a color-keyed Createx Colors AutoBorne Sealer base. 

__Opaque, Colors W030, W031, and W080–W089__ – Made with a durable acrylic and urethane resin, these colors cover and adhere well to difficult substrates such as plastic. 

__Pearl and Metallic, Colors W300–W313 and W350–W383__ – These colors spray semi-opaque out of the bottle. For best results over plastic, wood, hard surfaces, and automotive uses, apply over a color-keyed Createx Colors AutoBorne Sealer Base. For Aluminum and Silver airbrush colors, use over Createx Colors AutoBorne 6013 Silver Sealer.

__Detail, Colors W050–W076__ – These colors spray transparent out of the bottle and can be used with a 0.35 mm tip or larger. They dry to a matte finish that, combined with a binder size of 0.1 microns, makes them perfect for illustrators and artists seeking the ultimate control with fine lines and detailed artwork.

For a shimmering finish, airbrush artists use Auto Air 4300 Series Metallic Colors. These Createx airbrush paints are semi-opaque with a semi-gloss finish. They're best used over AutoBorne Sealer Black or Semi-Opaque Deep Black. Use them alone or as a base for Transparent or Candy Auto Air Colors.   Featuring breakthrough waterbased airbrush paint technology, these ready-to-spray colors can be used on metal, fiberglass, plastic, vinyl, wood, concrete, and glass. They're great for vehicles and signs. Auto Air Colors are permanent, lightfast, and non-toxic.   The Metallic and Pearlescent Colors are best applied with a large-tip airbrush or spray gun. On average, two to three coats are required for complete coverage. The Metallic Color pigments are heavy and may require vigorous shaking. Createx Candy2o Auto Air Colors - Set of 6 Cool Colors in row


Createx Candy2o Auto-Air Colors are brilliant, transparent colors for custom refinishing and airbrushing. They combine advanced, watersoluble, urethane resin technology with crystal-clear dyes for exceptional chromaticity and vibrancy.   Candy2o Colors are concentrated and intense. For optimal spraying, mix them with a Createx reducer (Intercoat, High Performance, or Automotive) at a ratio of 9:1. Four to six medium-wet coats are recommended for full color saturation. Allow approximately 10 minutes of flash time between coats when painting in non-humid, temperate conditions.   Candy2o Colors work with a wide variety of spray guns and airbrushes. They offer excellent adhesion, so they will not lift off or peel when taped.

Designed with the illustrator and fine artist in mind,  non-toxic  Createx Illustration Colors are optimized for  re-wettable  techniques and soft erasing.   Made with the same lightfast,  exterior-grade  pigments as Createx Wicked Colors and Auto Air Colors, Createx Illustration Colors use a different resin binder that renders them  re-wettable  with an  ammonia-based  cleaner such as Windex. They are also very easy to erase within the first 48 hours after application.   The heavily pigmented colors dry to a matte finish. They appear glossy and vibrant with dimension after a clear gloss topcoat clear is applied.   Because of their extremely low viscosity, many artists find that Illustration Colors offer excellent performance straight from the bottle, with no reduction necessary. They can, however, be reduced and over-reduced in any ratio with 4012 and 4020 Reducers.   Createx Illustration Colors may be sealed with a clear urethane for permanence.    Note &nbsp;&mdash;&nbsp;Createx Illustration Colors are suitable for application with airbrushes only and are not recommended for use with spray guns.

Createx Colors AutoBorne Sealers - Components of 6 4 oz. Primary Set in row


Createx Colors AutoBorne Sealers are the recommended foundation for any Createx Colors automotive or hard-surface paint job.  

These sealers provide incredible adhesion to any surface, including plastics&nbsp;&mdash;&nbsp;no adhesion promoter is ever required. 

You get excellent coverage in two medium coats. The sealer dries fast to a level, hard finish that's waterproof after curing. Apply it with a 1.3–1.4 tip airbrush operated at 20–23 PSI. Allow Sealer to dry matte before re-coating. 

Perfect for exterior applications, AutoBorne Sealers: 
  
-   Shave well when dry sanded with 1,000-grit sandpaper 
-   Don't have to be scuffed prior to applying Createx Colors paints 
-   Can be reduced 10% per volume with 4012 High Performance Reducer 
  
AutoBorne allows for quicker drying times. The sealers themselves dry quickly, as well as subsequent coats of Auto-Air Colors&nbsp;&mdash;&nbsp;less material is required to cover when colors are color-keyed with AutoBorne.
