This is my go to paper for colored pencil
By Artistic Attitudes
from Howell, Mi
This my go to paper when I want to use a toned paper for my colored pencil projects. It have nice tooth and comes in great colors.
Great for book making
I took an art class in college which used this paper for cover stock while making models of different binding methods. It works very well as a cover for single-signature notebooks and can easily be decorated with pen or pencil. I plan on making more as gifts. We also used it to practice covering mat board for hard book covers and then assembling those models. It's an economical way to practice the folding and gluing, rather than using book cloth on the first few tries. But I think you could make nice custom covers by drawing on this paper, sealing it, and covering book board. Canson has a nice variety of colors available, so it's easy to create sets, complement end papers, etc. Just make sure you fold with the grain! ;)

Comments about Canson Mi-Teintes Pads:
Great paper for so many media.
Takes Many Kinds of Media Both Wet and Dry
from Pemberton, NJ
Canson Mi-Teintes offers LOTS of colors. Each piece of paper offers the artist a choice of smooth or textured side. Canson also offers the ability to purchase a pad of multiple colors with each order. This is some tough paper that withstands marker, layers of colored pencils, layers of pastels, graphite pencils, watercolors, and even acrylic paint. I have no complaints about Canson Mi-Tientes Pads and Paper. The paper is high quality. I have no issues of tearing, fading, or being resistant to layers of multiple media. When I draw, I always use a wide array of colored pencils, Inktense Pencils, Graphite, PanPastels, Gesso layers, watercolor markers diluted on the paper with a light wash, oil pastels, Copics, and even some acrylic paints. I can imagine with the durability of this paper, there's hardly a thing that couldn't be used on it, although I've never tried heavier media in all honesty.Personally, I love the warm colored paper, but there is also a place in my heart for the gray tones as well. It's always a tough choice when I sit down to draw/paint on which color I'm going to use. Usually, I let the subject matter determine the paper color. I'm certainly glad that Canson makes a wide variety of tones and tints to choose from.#SWEEPSTAKES

My Cat, Shelby on Canson Mi-Teintes Gray Paper
The best for students using charcoal and pastels
from Cerritos CA
My students use these for charcoal or pastel projects. Often I'll halve the full-size papers to get more out of my budget, but the papers hold up to long projects, allowing for layering of pastels, or erasing out with charcoal.
I would buy this product again.
from New Hampshire
Since I'm a new user of tinted papers, and since this is the first tinted paper brand I have tried, my input is of relatively limited value. However, that said, I think the papers are not only really great, but a great value as well! The softness of the tints is perfect for my drawings, and I find the texture to be just what I want. I've used pastels, charcoal, pencil, and pen and ink, all with excellent results. I would definitely buy this product again.
This paper really delivered big results
from Franklin, Wisconsin
We used the paper for an origami star workshop. This paper worked very well for that purpose. It was easy enough to fold, but tough enough not to tear at all.

Loved the results!
I'd never tried a Canson Mi-Teintes product, and I am glad I did. I am very pleased with the results overall! The only down side is there are too few sheets of each tone. When I run out of one used more frequently, I will be forced to re-order another whole pad.
Canson's range of dual surface papers offer not only quality and versatility but are also economical. This video will introduce you to each of these special sheets.
