Comments about Blick Studio Bristol Pads:
I use this paper for fine detail artwork with Pen & Ink and it works really well. There is no bleeding and it appears to be high quality. Yes... I would buy it again.

Blick Studio Bristol Pads have high quality paper.
from Dublin, CA
It has really smooth, thick, solid paper so it can hold a lot of ink and wetness, so nothing really bleeds through. I use ink brushes and watercolor on this. It is probably good for mixed media that is heavy on the wet mediums.
Best in Bristol

My favorite bristol. The quality and price are impossible to beat
This is great bristol board
from Irving, TX
Other than the fact that the Bristol board is difficult to tear out, I'm very pleased with this product. It's high quality and a solid price. #sweepstakes
Will Continue to use

Purchased this as part of my search for the best marker paper to work on. I love these and will use them as my primary paper to work with. It does tend to feather out on the third layer of copics. Easy problem to solve though, just let the first two layers dry and go over it again--no more feathering.

Great Fashion Illustration Pad

I use this size pad to draw a live fashion model weekly. I like the texture and firmness of the Bristol vellum for pencil and watercolor.I wish it had 20 sheets instead of 15 because it uses up quickly.

Great economy buy
Caught these pads on sale and was more than pleased with the quality. I will highly consider these for future needs as an economical alternative to the brand name I had been getting!

For the price, why not buy a pad and see if you like it? I bought one pad of the smooth, and I plan on buying more in a different size. It's efficient to have a wide variety of papers available to you if you have a lot of variety in your work. You can always choose a paper that's just good enough for the project at hand, instead of using a paper that's better and more expensive than what is needed. When I spend more on bristol, it will be to get 3 or 4 ply paper.#sweepstakes
