A phenomenal surface for rubber stamping and mixed media, Ampersand Stampbord features a wood backing with an absorbent kaolin clay surface that grabs the ink from rubber stamps, leaving a clean, pristine image without smearing. You can also scratch or etch into the surface to create incredible details and highlights. 
  Stampbord can be used with most inks, paints such as watercolors and acrylics, embossing powders, pens, markers,  rub-ons  &mdash; just about anything! It is easily correctable and erasable using Scratchbord tools and  oil-free  steel wool. 
  Made from sustainable forest products that ensure the protection of wildlife, plants, soil, and water, Stampbord is  formaldehyde-free  and contains no harmful volatile organic compounds.
