The NAEA Conference Grant Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) begins at 12:00:00 AM Central Time (“CT”) on 09/26/24 and ends at 12:00:59 PM CT on 12/31/24 (the “Promotion Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official time keeping device for the Promotion. Sponsor: Dick Blick Holdings, Inc., P.O. Box 1267, Galesburg, IL 61402-1267.
This Promotion is open only to attendees of NAEA State Conferences who are legal residents of the U.S. or D.C., 18 years of age or older as of date of entry and who are currently employed at a school as a primary or secondary level art teacher, except for employees of Sponsor, their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates and their immediate family members or household members, regardless of where they reside.
To participate in the Sweepstakes, submit an entry form provided at participating Blick Art Materials NAEA State Conference exhibits from September 26, 2024 until November 24, 2024. Each completed entry form will receive 1 (one) entry into the Sweepstakes. Limit 1 (one) entry per person, per promotion.
Drawing will be conducted by sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to this Promotion. Drawings to be conducted on or about 12/31/2024.

Two (2) grand prizes will be awarded. Each Winner will receive 1 (one) NAEA 2025 National Convention registration (March 20-22, 2025), up to 4 nights lodging (hotel accommodations subject to availability), travel (roundtrip air transportation for 1 (one) from a major U.S. gateway airport nearest winner’s home and roundtrip transfers to/from hotel or comparable alternate travel method and allowance based on most efficient mode of transportation) and daily expense allowance with estimated total value of $2,300 each. Total approximate retail value $4,600.00. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Winners will be notified by e-mail or letter within 5 business days of drawing date. The prizes will be awarded in accordance with any and all laws, rules and regulations. Eligibility to receive a prize will be in accordance with the written policy, if any, of the winner's employer. Entrants are solely responsible for making sure that an award of the prize would be in compliance with the foregoing. Each winner will be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and where lawful, Publicity Release ("Winners Affidavit"), together with a Certification of Eligibility by the winner's employer, within seven (7) days of notification. In the event the selected winner does not comply with these requirements, or does not fully and accurately and legibly complete the Winners Affidavit and Certification of Eligibility, or should Sponsors believe that the awarding of the prize would violate any applicable law, rule, regulation or policy, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining eligible essays received. Prizes are non-transferable, no substitutions allowed, except at the discretion of the Sponsor. If winner cannot attend NAEA 2025 National Convention on designated dates (March 20-22, 2025), winner will forfeit prize and a new winner will be selected. Awarding of prizes may not be exchanged for the actual cash value of the prize. Taxes, and all other expenses not specified herein, if any, are the responsibility of the winner. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to the use by Sponsor and its designees of their name and state of residence and photographs/likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes for this and similar promotions, worldwide, and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media, now known or hereafter devised (including and without limitation, the Internet) without additional compensation, notification, or permission, except where prohibited by law. Should the potential winner decide to decline the prize for any or no reason whatsoever, Sponsor shall have no further obligation to that potential winner, and an alternate potential winner will be selected. By participating in the Promotion, Entrants agree to release, defend and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, licensees, parents, franchisees, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their respective employees, officers, directors, shareholders, attorneys, representatives, Entrants, successors and assigns (collectively "Releasees") from any and all liability for any injuries, losses or damage of any kind which may arise in connection with this Promotion or the acceptance and/or use of any prize. In the event that Sponsor should bring any action or claim arising out of this Promotion against Entrant(s), in which Sponsor prevails, Entrant(s) shall pay to Sponsor any and all costs incurred by Sponsor in, including actual attorneys’ fees, court costs, fees, and all other costs associated with such action. In any event, all Entrants’ claims, judgments and rewards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket sweepstakes costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in this promotion, but in no event attorneys' fees. Void where prohibited. Any issues concerning the validity, interpretation or enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of Entrants and Sponsor, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Illinois, USA, without giving effect to any conflict of law, which might find otherwise. The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Promotion should fraud, or other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Promotion. In such cases, notice to this effect will be posted on the website at https://www.dickblick.com/educators/teacher-news and winner will be determined from all eligible entries received prior to cancellation. If, in Sponsor's opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of tampering with any portion of the Promotion that compromises the integrity of the Promotion, the Sponsor reserves the right to void suspect entries and/or terminate the Promotion and award the prize in its sole discretion.
ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY AND SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
