Instructions

  1. On 04 bisque, slightly thin White glaze with water. Pour mixture inside the pieces, turn to coat, pour out the excess glaze, and then drain inverted. Wipe off the excess glaze on the outside of the surface.
  2. Use a banding wheel while applying the glazes or apply the glaze in a circular direction with a soft fan brush.
  3. Starting at the top of the pink tumbler, brush the White glaze in a circular direction approximately two inches down. Apply Snapdragon glaze to the same White brush for a couple of inches, proceeding with only the Snapdragon in the brush. Apply three to four coats of glaze.
  4. Starting at the top of the orange tumbler, brush the White glaze in a circular direction approximately two inches down. Apply Snapdragon glaze to the same White brush for a couple of inches, proceeding with only the Snapdragon in the brush. Apply three to four coats of glaze.
  5. Starting at the top of the pitcher, brush the White glaze in a circular direction approximately two inches down. Add Sherbet to the Snapdragon brush for approximately three inches. Apply only Sherbet to the pitcher for the remainder until reaching the bottom. For a smooth transition of color, overlap the different shades of coloring. Apply three to four coats of glaze.
  6. To achieve the White drip, brush a heavy coat of White against the top edge of the tumbler and pitcher so that the glaze will drip.
  7. Fire to cone 05/06.
