About Old Holland
Established in 1664, Old Holland is the world's oldest paint factory. The superb intensity of Old Holland colors provides great covering power. Old Holland is famous worldwide for their quality and their exacting standards, offering the ultimate in color range and performance.
Old Holland Classic Oil Colors are produced according to traditional recipes that retain the clarity of their colors to this day. Using only the best pigments and binders, like cold-pressed linseed oil, results in a very concentrated and light-fast paint, with higher color strength, hiding power and intensity.
More than 10 years of work went into the development of the Old Holland range of 168 watercolor paints. Old Holland focused on greater color strength and intensity when creating their watercolor line, experimenting with obtaining the maximum degree of pigmentation without sacrificing transparency.
