Transparency is amazing, however lightfastness is not really good for some paints. Some pigments are not so good examples:Py3,PR83.Positive that this color I bought are single pigments.I still would recommend this paints for those, who need transparency in WC, but before checking pigments and lightfastness.
Merchant response: The majority of the Utrecht Artists Watercolors are single pigment colors, and most also have a lightfast rating of either Excellent or Good — including Lemon Yellow which uses PY3. Alizarin Crimson, which uses PR83, is the only color that is currently rated less than Good in lightfastness. If lightfastness is important to you, the Permanent Alizarin Crimson, which uses PR177, has an Excellent lightfastness rating. I got a couple of colors and they did what I wanted them to do. I wouldn't say they are outstanding, but they are a nice brand and you get your money's worth with them.
