Comments about Utrecht Art Utrecht Aluminum Paint Tubes:
Our company makes watercolor and acrylic paints by hand. These tubes will be used to sell our acrylic paints online. Love Dick Blick and buy many high quality products from them.

They're aluminum paint tubes. Very cooperative in both loading and sealing. Great value.

Bought two to try out - used with the metal tube wringer. The tubes worked as you'd expect and were perfect for what I needed them for.
Great tubes for saving grays

These tubes are great for saving your gray paint mixture from off your palette after a painting session.
Bought for the caps!
I bought many small tubes just for their caps and they are perfect replacements for my cracked Winsor and Newton oil paint (37ml) lids!

Take large tubes and use smaller tubes for plein air to carry into the field

I like this idea of being able to save my own custom blend or leftover paint in an empty tube. Not priced so high that I'm able to experiment a little!

Nice tubes at a good price
I shopped around before buying these here. The key features besides price: the large cap (vs. a narrow cap, like toothpaste) and the generous width for easy filling.I sometimes buy old tubes of paint, which sometimes have leaks or stuck caps: these allow me to put those valuable paints into a working tube. They are also handy for tubing your own mixes, weather you start from dry pigment or simply have color combinations you commonly use.If you find yourself with extra paint on your palette, these can be used to save that as a mixture for toning your canvases.Rather than crimping the tubes, I use Mastersons Paint Keys, they are inexpensive and easy to use. It might be possible to add more paint to a tube closed with a key but I haven't tested that yet. The attached image shows an example of my use. They could have been packed a bit better: there was a wad of brown paper in the box that smushed the ends of a couple, but it wasn't a big deal to reopen them. An air pack might have been a better way to pad them.
