Inexpensive yet adaptable
from Germantown, TN
The attraction initially was the low cost. This paper is mainly good for relief printing. Wetting for intaglio creates too many problems (tearing, warping during drying). It is also good for proofing. If I want to make 10-20 copies, this paper is inexpensive enough that I can try a number of variations and still get an edition. Despite its light weight, the kozo fibers are strong enough for most relief projects.
Waiting to print with this paper

Just waiting to develop some prints to be printed before I use the paper...it looks to be strong and acceptable for my use.
Just what I ordered and expected
from Burlington, VT
I use the kozo for oil-based mono prints. It's perfect. Relatively inexpensive, no need to moisten beforehand, remarkable strong for its light weight.
Great for oil based relief printing

Surprise at how smooth, soft and white this product is
By Jan printmaker
I am looking for a smooth, soft surface to print on, on the white side, and this delivers. Excellent paper for the price. Haven't found a down side yet. Using Akua inks.
Great for blockprinting
By Pete Ziegel Illustration
I bought this because I was trying to find something that would work well but also be economical. This paper is by far the best I have found for absorbing ink from a block and the price is great!

Amazing surface for silk screen prints that sparkle with saturated color. Cheaper than the Japanese and a decent large size. Economy, performance and great results, a trifecta!

This paper was damaged when it arrived. I think some damage was because this delicate paper was put in the some box as 6 sheets of heavy 18X24 inch linoleum. The corners were bent and there were creases through the middle of the sheets. Dickblick did refund but shipping them back is kind of a hassle I will not be shopping at Dickblick for any more lightweight papers.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
