I used these pens for art class and most of them dried out after the first lesson. The gold was especially poor.

These pens area a great variety of metallic colors. I like using them they were a little fat to use with the Natural print paper project but they were ok. Nice vibrant colors

Only a couple of these pens really look metallic, which is the whole point of buying them -- to get a metallic look. The 'green' looks more silver than green; the gold is a dull mustard, and the red is the color of old tomato ketchup. So in addition to looking unmetallic, they're not even nice colors. I can't imagine what sort of artist or crafter would want to use these.

I teach at a high poverty school and I use Blick artist products to allow the children in my classroom to have the opportunity to expand their creativity and understanding of the Common Core State Standards. I think that when children are provided the opportunities and resources that challenge their creativity, problem solving and critical thinking skills it improves the desire to learn and their thirst for knowledge. I truly wish I had unlimited resources to provide students with even more art resources to use in the classroom.

These metallic markers are a terrific deal for the price compared to other metallic markers. They have a good range of colors and work well on a variety of paper types. The application is smooth and even and you don't have to shake them. Best of all, no fumes!

Kids love something shiny but glitters are messy. These markers can give some shiny effect without the mess. These colors work better on black papers. Kids love them.

Bought two sets of metallic markers, trying to find a RED one!! This Sargent set shows pink/red, but it sure looks BRONZE to me when I use it! :-(
The Prang set that I bought at the same time, claims on the marker itself that it is "Rose", but it still looks BRONZE to me!
Does anyone know where I can find a RED metallic marker???
