Texture brings a painting to life—and Nova Color Tintable Acrylic Texture Paste makes it effortless to add. This slightly loose, opaque paste is formulated with marble dust and other fine fillers to create a strong, matte surface that can be painted on or mixed directly with acrylic color. When tinted, it retains the original hue of the paint (red stays red, silver becomes gray), drying to a flat, natural finish that’s easy to overpaint or sand.

Use Tintable Texture Paste to build everything from fine surface details to bold, sculptural relief. It’s thick enough to shape with a palette knife yet smooth enough to spread evenly across canvas, wood, or board. Apply in thin layers to avoid cracking, letting each layer dry fully before adding more. Once cured, it forms a dense, hard surface ideal for painting, glazing, or distressing.

To create custom effects, mix with Nova Color Acrylics for tinted textures, or combine it with Nova Gel Medium for added flexibility. You can also experiment by blending in sand, pumice, or other materials for unique, tactile finishes. Tintable Acrylic Texture pastes dry to a permanent, matte, archival finish.
