Simple yet classic, the standard design of the Style 11 frame ascribes to the idea that less is more. Clean lines and an eased back face make this style a favorite for prints, photographs, and posters. Available in even inch increments from 6" to 42" (15Â cm to 107Â cm).
Nielsen Frame Sections are ordered in pairs of equal length. Each item you order is a pair, and two pairs complete a frame. Each order is shipped with all the hardware needed to easily build a beautiful and sturdy frame, using no tools other than a flat screwdriver. All Nielsen frame sections are cut to order. This custom work will increase the ship time of your order slightly.
Frame Dimensions – Frames are measured by the size of the artwork they hold. Measure your artwork, mat, or panel, and order that size frame. The frame will overlap your artwork by about 1/4" on each side so it fits securely. If the frame includes a precut mat, the mat opening is indicated as Artwork Size.
Depth (Profile / Thickness) – How thick the frame moulding is from front to back, or how far it sticks out from the wall.
Rabbet Depth – The space inside the frame that holds your artwork and any materials used with it, like glass, matting, or backing. Make sure the total thickness of your materials fit within the rabbet depth.
