These durable plastic frames make poster hanging a breeze. The mitered frame sections grip firmly, yet pull apart and slide off for easy insertion and changing of artwork.
The frame also has a clear protective front sheet, hardboard or cardboard backing for mounting, and a hanging system for vertical or horizontal display. No assembly is required.
Frame Depth — The depth of a frame refers to the depth of the frame's rabbet (the cut-out area behind the frame's molding that holds your artwork in place). To find a frame that will accommodate your artwork, measure the depth of the artwork, including any matting or mounting materials, and order a frame with a depth that is, at a minimum, the same as that measured depth.
Frame Dimensions — Frames are sized by the opening, not by the outside of the molding. To determine the size of frame to order, measure the outside of your artwork, including mat, and order that size frame. The frame will overlap your artwork ¼" all the way around, so your artwork will fit nicely behind the frame's molding.

Simple and Basic

This is a very simple and inexpensive plastic frame for quick display. The art pops right in and is ready to hang. If cost is a factor, this will work well.

Purchased to complement a larger print on a gallery wall of Format frames thinking it was from the same collection. The frame is much wider on this, and not as thick, making it more noticeable. The backing was either warped or too thick as I had a challenge getting the frame back together once the print was inserted. My suggestion would be to switch out the cardboard backing with a sturdier but slimmer one. But at that point you've negated the awesome price.

Perfect for casual framing at home, get what you pay for

How I used these: I was framing art prints that were at an irregular size and needed to be matted for display. These prints were for home display so I didn't need anything lavish because a. there are several I intended to frame and b. I'm on a really really low-budget.Things that are great: They're simple and effective. They come with hooks on the back for hanging and are light enough so that with small nails or even thumbtacks I'd be confident to hang them up without fear of them falling. They're easy to assemble and most importantly of all, they're cheap.Things that aren't so great: Because they're cheap, they're also unfortunately cheaply made. The handling of the materials in transport is also iffy since there were a few of my frames' plastic that were scratched and scuffed. You can't see the scratches from a long distance but up close or against a light it's so immediately visible that it hurts me a little bit inside because the art prints are gorgeous but all I can focus on is the long scratch running above it on the plastic. The actual plastic framing material is sturdy but trying to squeeze mattboard in between the plastic and backing took a bit more effort than framing should. You also run the risk of chipping off some of the backing as well as the plastic when you try to frame mattboard as well. But its a snug fit so you know for sure whatever you're framing isn't budging.TL;DR: These are by no means a professional, gallery-appropriate style of framing prints, photos, or whatever. But if you're looking for something to display posters or prints on a budget in your home, then these are pretty good for the price.
These worked fine
from Oakland, CA
I ordered 25 of these frames for a student art show of original watercolors. I wanted them to look "professional", and they look great. The corners fit together snugly. The Masonite back has 2 hangars built in for a horizontal or vertical display. We attached the paintings to the flip side of the paper insert with two drops of glue, and they look great. My h.s. students were able to do the framing, and they were impressed. After the film was removed from the plexiglass, the art looked perfect. For less than $10 each, we have a professional looking show.
Very Cheap Frame
from Los Angeles, CA
I bought many frames online from Blick after moving into a new apartment. The service I received was excellent, however, these specific frames were just not quality. I assumed the plastic would be sturdier, but the frame itself reminded me of those plastic clips for transparent report covers. The corners of the product did not come together as pictured. There were small gaps on each corner of the frame. Both the plastic and plexiglass scratch easily. The frames bend slightly away from the wall when hung. At the end of the day, these flaws are not too noticeable from a distance. There are similar priced frames out there for much higher quality. I would recommend getting those instead.

Light & Easy to use

I could not find the size poster frame I needed in the store, so I ordered it online, it came in a few days & was eSy to use, and light.
Was Hoping for Better
from Philadelphia, PA
Was hoping these would make an inexpensive framing solution for daughter's posters. Hate to say but the cardboard backing was crumpled on the edges, making it difficult to slide the plastic edging on evenly, and the overall look was less than impressive.
