Featuring a traditional profile and woodgrain finish, these MCS Classic Edge Frames are versatile enough to display everything from diplomas to one-of-a-kind prints.
The 1-3/8" molding provides a slightly beveled border that won’t distract from whatever you choose to frame. Made from durable, non-toxic MDF material, each frame includes vertical and horizontal sawtooth hangers that are pre-attached for your convenience. Sizes 8" x 10" and 8-1/2" x 11" also feature an easel back for tabletop display.
Sizes 12" x 12" and smaller feature a glass face. All other sizes feature a styrene face with protective film. The film should be removed before displaying your art.
Frame Dimensions – Frames are measured by the size of the artwork they hold. Measure your artwork, mat, or panel, and order that size frame. The frame will overlap your artwork by about 1/4" on each side so it fits securely. If the frame includes a precut mat, the mat opening is indicated as Artwork Size.
Depth (Profile / Thickness) – How thick the frame moulding is from front to back, or how far it sticks out from the wall.
Rabbet Depth – The space inside the frame that holds your artwork and any materials used with it, like glass, matting, or backing. Make sure the total thickness of your materials fit within the rabbet depth.
