An alternative to traditional rabbit glue size, Lascaux Acrylic Sizing is a non-toxic preparation made with pure acrylic resin that renders your canvas completely impervious and improves the bond on subsequent coats of primer.   Colorless, flexible, lightfast, and age-resistant, Lascaux Acrylic Sizing may be applied straight from the package or diluted with water. It may be sanded to a fine finish with sandpaper or a pumice stone. Follow with one or more coats of Lascaux Primer, Lascaux Gesso, or other brand of acrylic gesso.

Lascaux acrylic paints are milled to have the body and texture of fine oils. Intensely pigmented, these colors are extraordinarily lightfast and completely resistant to aging. They have exceptional covering power too.   All colors dry to an equally satin surface which is insoluble in water. They layer very well, with no shrinking, oxidation, yellowing, or cracking even in the thickest layers.   Each label is hand-painted to accurately show the color inside.

 All colors are opaque and lightfast. They will not bleed or change hue when overpainted. They mix easily into all Lascaux Mediums, and can be mixed with Lascaux Artist Acrylics.
