From the first application of watercolor to the last, Canson L’Aquarelle Héritage Watercolor Paper offers excellent color laydown, brush-to-paper responsiveness, and lifting ease.
This next-generation watercolor paper features gelatin-free sizing that allows for easy corrections by lifting of both staining and granulating pigments — whether the paper is wet or dry. Colors appear vivid, bright, and intense on the first application, decreasing the need to reapply additional paint. Color flows smoothly from the artist's brush to the paper, allowing for precise control of the line or form being created.
Handling Charge — When ordering sheets of paper or board larger than 18” x 24” in quantities of less than 10, a $3.00 per order handling fee applies. Paper or boards may be assorted to reach the quantity of 10.

Comments about L’Aquarelle Canson Héritage Watercolor Paper:
i'm a botanical and nature artist. this paper is terrible, non granulating pigments granulate on the surface, i can't get it to hold a clean sharp edge, and the pigment is drawn down into the surface which results in a loss of vibrancy. i had gotten this to replace the OLD fabriano artistico, but this paper is not it.....if you do abstracts and or maybe colored pencils this may work, but if you are concerned about fine details, ie: stamens or tiny leaf hairs...... forget this paper...it seems like it's not well sized at all....more like blotting paper then hp watercolorthank goodness for blicks return policy, this is going BACK
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Very nice paper
from Westerly, RI
First time I've used Canson Water color paper. This Heritage paper is fairly new, I think, and Canson's best. Don't confuse this paper with Canson's cheaper water color pads; this is way better. I've only done some small paintings more as a test than anything. I use Arches mostly and Fabriano. I can't, at this point, say this paper is as good or better but it is pretty good; surely worth a try.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This paper lets me make corrections and is very tough. It may become my favorite although it is pricey.
