An excellent porcelain clay consisting of domestic kaolin clays and no ball clays, Great Lakes Domestic Porcelain Clay fires white, tight, and translucent when fired at higher temperatures. Thinner clay pieces will be even more translucent when fired at high temperatures.   This clay has a very responsive throwing body. Bisque fire to Cone 010–08. Fire to Cone 6–10.
