I use this fabric for binding books, because I can put artwork on the bookcover that looks like a painting on canvas. It takes inkjet printing very nicely.

I give away "prints" of my paintings to family and friends every year. I guess I must usually use the Strathmore brand. Unfortunately, I ordered Fredrix this year and it is junk. The ink from both of my Epson printers just sits on top of the canvas coating and the resolution is horrible as a result. I cannot tell you how disappointing this is. Don't waste your money, especially if you have an Epson printer.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Doesn't work with Epson Printer in any combination of print quality and paper type. Doesn't come close to the now unavailable Strathmore product. Most of the canvas papers as opposed to this true canvas product look better and hold the ink better when printed. I've been at this a long time have made my first commercial sale in 1957, and this stuff is over priced junk. Fredrix should be ashamed!

Exactly as described

The product was exactly as i expected it to be and the inkjet looks good, black ink anyway - I didn't print in color. It's not like real canvas but then you wouldn't expect it to be and feel through the printer.
works great on HP printer, great color
finished canvas looks just like I wanted it too. I will be using more of this product. price is just what I needed for the work to do.

I tried to use this product to print images of my artwork that I could go back and lightly paint over. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by this product. The colors were very pale even though I have a relatively nice and very new printer. Also, the canvas has 0% absorbancy- the ink just sits on top of the canvas. I had to spray 3-4 layers of fixative for the ink to not easily scratch off. I could look past these issues, but the thing that has made this product unusuable for my purposes is that it has a super strong tendency to curl if you cut it into smaller pieces (like splitting the piece in half). I tried to fix this by painting the front and back and taping it down as it dried, but the edges still curled like crazy. I don't understand why this happens since I have done small paintings on regular unstretched canvas and have had no problems like this. Framing the image will solve this issue, but that was an additional cost I wanted to avoid.
