Use this flexible foam brush to apply acrylic finishes to artwork, or to wet paper for watercolor or acrylic painting. This is a great classroom tool that features a strong, wooden handle, 9/16" (15 mm thick).
Note — Not for use with shellac or lacquer.

Excellent! Hold up well through multiple uses!
from Ponte Vedra, FL
I use acrylic paints, and these brushes hold a ton of paint. Make sure to wash them well before the paint sets in and you will get many uses out of them!

I use these everyday for coating canvas and their is nothing better and rollers don't work as well.
Great deal, quality is there. Better than some of the other brushes I've purchased locally. For a cheap foam brush it is surprisingly good quality in my opinion.
Terrible foam brushes
By Plein Air Painter

I bought these foam brushes because they were cheap. But it was a terrible mistake. That's the bad thing about buying online, because you can't see the product up close or feel it: the wooden handle of the brushes do not extend into the foam at all. It stops abruptly and is connected to the foam with a flimsy piece of plastic. When I'm gessoing my canvases, it's impossible to apply any sort of pressure on the brush, otherwise the handle would break. I ended up have to hold the foam part itself, getting gesso all over my hands. The foam also rips easily. A few weeks ago I bough a foam brush from a hardware store. It was so much better, I could use the handle, and I was able to wash it and reuse it many times. These ones I got online are 1 time use only, and a frustrating experience when you use them. It's worth paying a little more to get good ones from the hardware store.

Nothing better for edging tiles or painting rims of pottery for a great even straight line.

Foam Brushes Rock!
By Terri the Teacher

I used this project with middle schoolers and they were great! They were able to use it with paint, glue, and mod podge, too. The best part was the clean up; all we had to do was wash them and wait for them to dry and they were as good as new. I highly recommend them for big poster projects, collages, and paper mosaic projects.
I would buy this product again.
