Inspired by the brand’s 1930s heritage, the Esterbrook Estie Ballpoint Pen is a modern take on a classic American design. Turned from premium European acrylic, it has a warm, solid feel in the hand that’s more reminiscent of traditional pen materials than typical acrylic. 

The vintage-inspired cigar shape is comfortably balanced with or without the cap posted, making it easy to write with for long stretches. A smooth twist mechanism lets you extend the tip one-handed, with no clicking or fiddling, while Esterbrook’s signature cushion cap uses a spring-loaded inner mechanism that engages with a gentle push and twist to help protect the pen when it’s not in use. 

The Estie Ballpoint arrives ready to write with a standard Parker-style refill already installed and can be easily swapped for any Parker-style G2 cartridge. It comes packaged in Esterbrook’s classic red gift box. With its classic design and modern usability, the Estie is the kind of pen that makes writing worth slowing down for.
