This low-fire, meticulously cleaned bisque pumpkin is highly durable and offers perfect absorption for paint adhesion. To use, clean the vases with a damp sponge to remove any dust, then decorate them with low-fire glazes or underglazes and allow them to dry. Fire to cone 06.

Glazes applied to the pumpkin are guaranteed not to shiver, regardless of the brand of glaze being used. It can also be decorated with acrylic paints.

Duncan Precious Metals Overglazes contain real precious metals that result in brilliant 22 karat yellow gold or white gold finishes when applied to fired glazed ware. They are food-safe after firing. 


Bright Gold and White Gold contain 4 percent 22 karat gold content. Premium Gold contains 8 percent 22 karat gold content, producing a truer gold color. 


To use, simply place a small amount of overglaze onto a glazed palette, then use a brush to evenly coat the glazed piece as desired. Do not let the glaze pool. Opaque when applied, Premium Gold will appear red in color, Bright Gold will appear brown, and White Gold will appear green. Allow to dry, then stilt and fire to Cone 019-018.
