ColorBox pigment inks are waterbased and formulated to stamp on absorbent papers, but their slow-drying formula also makes them ideal for embossing and blending on coated or non-absorbent paper.
Acid-free, pH-balanced and archival, the rich, thick inks in ColorBox Stamp Pads won't bleed or fade. The large, raised pads accommodate almost any size stamp.
Conforms to ASTM D4236.
Petal Point Pinwheel Ink Pad
Blooming color at your fingertips! Eight pigment pads come together to create an appealing palette. These petal-shaped ink pads are perfect for getting into hard-to-reach areas, and the individual petals slide out for stamping, cleaning, and re-inking. Colors include Orange, Canary, Lime, Green, Cyan, Royal Blue, Violet, and Scarlet.
An inexpensive way to extend the life of your inkpads, ColorBox Re-inkers contain the same acid-free, archival, fade-resistant ink as ColorBox Pigment Ink Stamp Pads. For best results, shake well, and then squeeze a few drops of ink onto the surface of the stamp pad and work it evenly into the pad using the nozzle of the bottle. Re-inkers are available in 0.5 oz (14 ml) bottles. Conforms to ASTM D 4236.

GOOD ALL-AROUND RELIABLE QUALITY
Comments about ColorBox Pigment Ink Stamp Pads:
I generally use a variety of the most common and high-quality brands and Colorbox pigments are included in those brands. For stamping, it's always best to do some testing out before stamping your final impression and various brands & types of ink and colors work better than others on various types of paper. I just always think of any dye inks as "thin & crisp" and of course they dry faster, whereas pigment inks are "thick & juicy" and are good for embossing or if you just want a fuller looking impression. Colorbox is a solid performer but Tsukineko, maker of Versacolor/mark/fine/magic, Stayzon, Brilliance & other specialty inks are probably my favorite for pigment ink and then Ranger Archival (especially the black) is my go-to fav for crisp headlines/nameplates, etc.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great ink, small pad
from San Francisco
For me, one who makes their own stamps, the surface area of the pad is quite small compared to other companies' pads. It really limits me.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Merchant response: Thank you for reaching out! These ink pads have 2-7/8" x 1-3/4" (74mm x 46mm) of stamp surface area, and we apologize if that's not what you were expecting. Please know that if you feel these stamps pads don't meet your needs, we're happy to help with a return or exchange. Just call 1-800-723-2787 to speak to a Customer Care Agent.
Highly-Saturated, Expensive, But They Don't Dry Up!
from Princeton, NJ
I used these highly-saturated ink pads for a 2nd grade stamping project, using corks and rubber erasers on dark blue card stock. I wanted to make sure the warm-colored ink would show on the dark card stock, and it did. These pads are expensive, but the ink does not dry out, the sponge pad is rubbery and porous, and the colors are opaque-ish. I used Red, yellow, Gold, White and Orange pads. They also stood up to the kids stamping a dirty eraser into a different color pad: I just smooshed the pad with a clean eraser and it absorbed the other color.
Great Service - a bit pricey

Great service for an item we had difficulty finding elsewhere.
from Land O Lakes, FL
This ink does not work with alcohol based markers or watercolors. I would not recommend buying these. You should get memento ink or stayz-on ink.
Merchant response: We're sorry to hear that these inks aren't as you expected. Great Product for Crafting
from Boston, MA
I use this ink with embossing powder and it works like a dream. The pad is super saturated and the color payoff is great.
