Blick Artists Acrylic Gloss Medium 8oz jar

Blick Artists' Acrylic Mediums are designed especially for use with Blick Artists' Acrylic. 


Gloss Medium contains the same high quality polymer emulsion that is used as a binder for the acrylic colors. It dries crystal clear and glossy. Mix it with acrylic paint for a uniform glossy finish or a transparent glaze.


Adding Matte Medium to your paint will cause it to dry with a dull finish, like casein or tempera. It should not be used as a varnish.

Blick Artists’ Acrylic Remover is ideal for removing dried acrylic paint from brushes. Soak brushes in acrylic remover until paint softens, then wipe away while gently working bristles back and forth. Brushes can be re-soaked as needed until all paint is removed. To finish, wash brushes with soap and water, rinse, shape, and allow to dry.

Do not mix Blick Artists’ Acrylic Remover with acrylic products. Use only in a well-ventilated area and do not store near heat or flame.

Use this additive to slow the drying time of acrylic paints. It is useful for &quot;wet-in-wet&quot; techniques, and for reducing skinning on the palette.    Note &nbsp;&mdash; Do not add excess Retarder, or the paint will not dry.   Made in the USA.
