Products intended for tattooing (tattoo machines, tattoo needles, and tattoo inks) are permanent and should be used only by skilled professionals. By purchasing these products from Blick, you acknowledge the risks and responsibilities of using these products and assume all responsibility for the outcomes of using them. To ensure responsible use, Blick requires all customers purchasing tattooing machines and needles to provide a one-time proof of age 18 or older.
For your initial order, please email a clear photo of your driver’s license, state-issued ID, or passport, verifying you are 18 years of age or older to verify@dickblick.com. Before sending, you may redact the photo to remove information not required for age verification. At the least, your identification must clearly show your name, year of birth, and at least the last four digits of the document’s identification number.
Blick encrypts stored copies of identification and limits storage to the duration that the information is required for age verification purposes. When age verification is complete and the identification record is no longer needed, the record will be securely and permanently destroyed. Employees with access to customer identification information for verification purposes receive data security training and do not use customer identification information for any purpose other than age verification for the purchase of specific tattooing products.
By placing an order containing a tattoo product, you:
Confirm that you are at least 18 years of age;
Attest that the identification provided belongs to you;
Consent to the collection and verification of your identification solely for the purpose of age verification; and
Agree to the terms and conditions outlined above regarding the use and purchase of tattoo products.
