Yasutomo Liquid Metallic Sumi Inks offer artists an easy way to add metallic impact to calligraphy, illustration, and mixed media work. Made from the same carbon black pigment used in traditional sumi ink sticks and enhanced with finely milled metallic pigment, these pre-mixed inks flow smoothly, spread evenly, and dry to a subtle reflective sheen that reads clearly on both white and black paper.

The ink absorbs slightly into the surface, helping metallic tones stay bright and dimensional rather than sitting flat. Once dry, it offers better water resistance than standard sumi inks, making it great for layering, glazing, and controlled overpainting.

Each 2 oz bottle features a wide mouth for brushes, plus a built-in dropper spout for clean, controlled dispensing. Available in seven metallic, these inks provide a versatile palette for adding contrast, highlights, and dimensional accents.

Shake well before use to fully disperse the metallic pigment.
