Mayco Stoneware Crystal Glazes offer potters of all skill levels a unique way to create vibrant effects in their stoneware. These easy-to-use glazes contain colorful crystals that melt and bloom during firing, adding beautiful variations in color, finish, and texture to your pieces. Perfect for both dipping and pouring, they deliver even, consistent coverage across a range of pottery forms. The Crystal Glazes enhance and complement the clay’s natural textures and can be layered to achieve complex, multi-dimensional effects.

Designed for mid to high-fire temperatures, these glazes perform well in both oxidation and reduction firing environments and are compatible with various stoneware clay bodies. While optimized for Cone 5/6 firings, they also maintain their stability and visual appeal at Cone 10, offering flexibility for different firing schedules.

Important Note: Always conduct a glaze test prior to final use. When used according to directions, these glazes are food safe and suitable for dinnerware.
