Lefranc Bourgeois Flashe Biobased Paint brings the signature ultra-matte look of traditional Flashe to an eco-friendlier formula. Made with a 97% bio-based binder, this paint delivers ultra-flat, matte, velvety color. It handles like a cross between acrylic gouache and soft-body acrylic, drying to a completely opaque, non-reflective finish—perfect for scanning, photographing, and display under lights.

With a soft, peach-skin finish that hides brushstrokes, Flashe Biobased adheres beautifully to a wide range of surfaces—wood, textile, leather, metal, paper, polystyrene, and more — no primer required. Apply it using a brush, sponge, palette knife, spray gun, or airbrush. Flashe Biobased can be diluted with water for washes or fluid applications without losing its opacity or breaking the paint film. While highly rated for lightfastness, a protective varnish is recommended for outdoor use.
