Jackman's Finest Artists' Gouache is carefully handmade to bring out the natural opacity of each individual pigment, rather than relying on inert fillers or added whitening agents. Colors are milled at the highest practical pigment concentration to achieve dense, even coverage with a refined matte surface and exceptional chromatic integrity.

Used straight from the tube with a damp brush, the paint delivers solid, uniform passages with crisp edges and minimal streaking. Diluted with water, it transitions into soft, controlled washes while retaining body and color strength. For tonal adjustment or heightened opacity, it can be mixed with titanium white gouache without compromising handling.

Crafted with the same carefully selected Kordofan gum arabic used in Jackman’s watercolors, the paint offers consistent flow, excellent adhesion, and reliable reactivation once dry. The surface dries evenly, photographs cleanly, and layers without undue lifting when handled with control. Exceptional for illustrators, designers, and fine artists who require precision and authority in flat color.
