These paints were born from an artist’s need to push beyond the limits of traditional acrylics. Artist Justin Gaffrey needed a paint that could match the dimensional energy of his sculptural work—and when no brand could deliver, he made his own. What started as a DIY experiment in a Florida studio became Gaffrey Art Material, where every batch is still handmade, mixed, and poured in-house.

Each jar is packed with pure, lightfast pigments suspended in a 100% acrylic emulsion—and nothing else. The dense texture spreads easily for rich opacity and gravity-defying dimension, then cures to a brilliant, flexible, crack-resistant gloss finish that preserves every sculpted peak on canvas, wood, or dimensional surfaces.
