About Dynasty
Originally established in 1929 by Frederick Mink, the FM Brush Company has over 90 years of experience creating high-quality brushes that feature the right blend of form and function. Four generations of the Mink family have led FM Brush Company to become a worldwide leader in brush manufacturing. We combine a tradition of excellence and commitment to quality to give you personal service from design to delivery.
After years of designing and manufacturing brushes for major international brush brands, FM Brush Company created the Dynasty brand to maintain the integrity and quality of fine artists’ brushes. Dynasty exemplifies a longstanding tradition of superior craftsmanship that was established early on by Fred Mink.
We offer a wide array of hair types, giving artists varying MTS (mechanical tensile strength) or “snapability,” with brushes rated Soft, Medium, Strong, and Super Strong to support all types of mediums, from oils to pastels and everything in between. Our brushes are rated by artistry level and competitively priced, making it easy for every artist to afford a quality collection of brushes based on their level. We combine the master craftsmanship of our expertise with innovative materials to create brushes that are second to none. The Mink family is continuing the tradition of craftsmanship while exploring new technology to create exciting products, taking FM Brush into the next generation.
