Blick Opens New San Jose Store on Stevens Creek Boulevard

Grand Opening Celebration Scheduled for February 26

January 20, 2026 | San Jose, CA — Blick Art Materials, the nation's leading art supplies retailer, is pleased to announce the opening of a new store in San Jose. Located at 3430 Stevens Creek Boulevard, the new store will officially celebrate its Grand Opening on February 26, 2026, bringing an expansive selection of professional art materials to the heart of the Stevens Creek neighborhood.

The store caters to artists and creators of all levels with a wide assortment of fine art, craft, and stationery supplies. Highlights include a dedicated space for fine writing where visitors can test pens and inks from emerging brands, plus interactive marker and spray paint displays. Expanded ceramics and textile departments feature a curated selection of specialty glazes and yarns, while the store's Custom Services team offers bespoke stretched canvas, fine art framing, and printing services.

"Over a century ago, Blick found success in serving the sign makers who shaped the visual identity of American cities and storefronts," said Bob Buchsbaum, CEO of Blick Art Materials. "Opening a store in San Jose, a city with its own rich tradition of public art and historic signage, feels especially meaningful. This is a place where art is woven into the community fabric. Blick is proud to join this dynamic ecosystem and provide San Jose artists with the world-class materials they need to continue shaping the city's story."

Reinforcing its commitment to local arts communities, Blick is partnering with Starting Arts, a San Jose non-profit dedicated to bringing hands-on arts education to K–12 students. The collaboration will focus on supporting youth programs in Bay Area schools through high-quality art materials and resources. Additionally, Blick aims to support the organization’s up-and-coming makerspace in the new Shared Arts Center of San Jose, located in downtown San Jose. The Center will open this summer.

"We are focused on becoming a trusted resource for the vibrant arts community here," said Clarina Bradshaw, District Manager. "From working artists and educators to students and small businesses, we're excited to serve San Jose with the selection, services, and support Blick is known for."
