Letraset ProMarkers provide flawless color laydown, consistent coverage, and no streaking, making them ideal for design, illustration, comic art, and crafts.

Filled with high performance, alcohol-based, permanent ink, ProMarkers feature a broad chisel nib on one end and a rounded bullet nib on the other. The ink is considered permanent and may be used on paper, card, glass, acetate, plastic, ceramic, wood, and metal. Secure "click-fit" caps prevent marker dryout.

ProMarkers are available in a wide variety of contemporary colors, ranging from bright, vivid shades to subtle pastels. The translucent inks also can be overlaid and blended to create additional shades and hues. The ProMarker Blender is ideal for softening and merging colors.

I Love These Markers!

I received my first set of 46 colors yesterday and added them to my color chart. They are amazing! The first thing I noticed was how, unlike my other markers, you don't get any streaks (yipee!). You barely have to touch the paper and they lay down smooth, beautiful color. Best of all, you can go over missed spots and not get an unsightly dark area where you've doubled the layer around it.

The colors are spectacular too... soft and somehow warm instead of the garrishly bright and often unnatural feeling colors I get with my Tombows (don't get me wrong, I love my Tombows, it's just that there is NO comparison between them and the Promarker colors). The flesh tones just blew me away. I took my color chart around the house and measured them up against everyone's skin, I was able to match ever patch of skin I touched either with an individual color or by mixing two colors together! Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!!

I've been using Tim Holtz Distress Markers and Tombow markers along with colored pencils, various inks and pastels for quite some time on projects ranging from hand-drawn cards to woodworking and sandstone carvings. They all work fine and I'm not disappointed in them, but I've been lusting after a set of professional quality markers for a long time.

If the price on Copics wasn't almost twice that of the Promarkers, I may have gone for those because they have a fantastic marketing system.... lots of tutorials, tons of bloggers who use them, color charts up the whazoo, (not to mention that every marker has the color number on it in an easy to view location) etc... but in all honesty, I don't feel that I settled for second best here. I got a good price on a great set of markers that I can't wait to use in my next project.

My only complaint is that not every marker is labeled with the color number and the markers are labeled on the side, which isn't nearly as convenient as the top or bottom. Still, at nearly half the price of Copic open stock, I'm not going to complain too loudly about a minor inconvenience.

I recieved my promarkers in the mail today and I could not be more pleased with my purchase. I've read multiple places online that promarkers are comparable to copics. This is true! Most people agree that copics are the best of the best but these markers are definitely in the running. I use markers for fashion illustrations and drawings. The only down side to these markers is that they do not have a brush tip like the copic ciao and sketch do, which is sad but it is something I am willing to look past for the great price!

I use my pens to produce colored pictures on greeting cards which I create using rubber stamps, colored pens, colored pencils, various inks, etc. I find using your pens with the blender gives me a wider range of techniques. I now have a large selection of Promarker pens with blenders and look forward to the time I can sit down to work on my cards. I do not sell my cards and they are purely for my enjoyment to give to friends and relatives on birthdays, holidays, special occasions or "just because". I recommend the Promarkers for everyone who enjoys adding color to their hobby or profession. I send my friends and relatives each a monthly calendar with a colored rubber stamped image (since January 2001) and have not repeated any images since that date.
